Ethics of Ministry
Greetings to all Fellow OBFF leaders
What an exciting time for our fellowship at our office in Windsor, renewals have been steadily coming in, and new members are coming on board, and our fellowship is definitely moving in the right direction. Pastor Cathy and I are so appreciative of your financial support of our fellowship as well as your prayers and encouraging letters.
Some very exciting things are happening this summer in our fellowship that will bring great blessing to all of us who participate in them. Cathy and I are committed to the success of each one of our members and we are providing some key areas of ministry for our OBFF churches and leadership teams that will serve as a catalyst to strengthen the local churches, families, and ministries of our Nation. This weekend June 2-4 OBFF first youth conference is being held by Pastors Francis and Edith in Kingston and I encourage you to send your teens and young Adults to be a part of this gathering as the subjects addressed and the speakers are cutting edge ministries for our young people today in Canada.
Cathy and Jill have put a power packed encounter weekend together for our female members and their teams on July 20-21-2006, get your registration in today, and come expecting a supernatural encounter with our King. Prophets Rob and Stacey Quinlan who are fellow OBFF members and the children’s church Leaders at WCF will be doing a children’s church conference on July 8 at Pastor Randy Neilsons church in Brampton, send your cc leadership teams and they will be greatly blessed and learn proven strategies to effectively minister to the generation at hand.
Cathy and I are working on a men’s encounter during the week for latter this fall, details will be coming in next month’s newsletter. This month I have asked Pastor Dave Kalamen and Pastor Randy Neilson to share on ministerial ethics. Both of these men have great experience in working with churches and ministries and have first hand seen the pain, struggles, and hurts caused from ministers that just ignore the code of ethics that are established for healthy, long term relationships in the Body of Christ.
The definition of ethics out of Webster’s dictionary says it is relating to morals or moral principles, it’s the philosophy which treats of human character and conduct, of distinction between right and wrong, and moral duty and obligations to the community. I was so encouraged when I became a part of OBFF that we had a code of ethics in our fellowship that truly reflected the heart of leadership that loves and respects one another. Blessings,
Pastor Rick Ciaramitaro
