Pastor/Apostle David Kalamen has been in ministry since 1974.  In 1982 with his wife Carleen and their three children, founded Kelowna Christian Center in Kelowna, B.C.  David spent a number of years as President of the Evangelical Ministerial Association, served on numerous community committees and chairs the Kelowna Chapter of the International Christian Chamber of Commerce.

Since his response to the call to the city of Kelowna, the Center’s ministries include an accredited Heritage Christian school, Ministry Training Institute, on-line school, global missions program, crisis pregnancy testing/counseling and adopting center, teleios counseling program and recovery home for sexually abused women.

His teaching ministry has taken him to over twenty nations of the world.  In 2004, David released a book entitled Life Purpose intended to combat the spirit of mediocrity in today’s culture and help connect people, families, churches and cities with God’s incredible plan for their life.

David has responded to an apostolic calling (Romans 1:5) where he raises up leadership  and fathers and mentors men in ministry.
